The Zamir Choral Foundation demonstrates its musical leadership as well as its strong Zionist sensibilities by regularly presenting Special Programs that mark significant milestones in the history of the Jewish community and the State of Israel. Special guest artists who have appeared with Maestro Lazar in Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center include Naomi Shemer, Shoshana Damari, Yehoram Gaon, Elie Wiesel, Nurit Hirsh, Theo Bikel, Dr. Ruth Westheimer, Debbie Friedman, Alberto Mizrahi, Jacob Ben Zion Mendelson, and Richie Havens.
Maestro Lazar produced the first and only conference and concert dedicated to the music and life of Salamone Rossi.
