HAZAMIR: The International Jewish Teen Choir
HaZamir, directed by Vivian Lazar, is a musical youth movement that offers hundreds of Jewish high school teens across the United States and Israel the opportunity to perform Jewish choral music at the highest standard of excellence and perform on the world’s greatest stages. HaZamir teens study Jewish texts and learn about their history through the songs they sing. They grow as leaders through the select HaZamir teen leadership program, cultivate a deep connection to Israel and create enduring friendships that transcend geographic, social, denominational and political differences. HaZamir is the teen arm of the Zamir Choral Foundation.
